La Tour Eiffel in Gingerbread
This rendition of the beautiful French landmark is bedecked for Christmas. The tower sits at the end of the famed Champs du Mars and is surrounded by a Boulangerie (bakery), Boucherie (butcher shop); La Terrace, an actual bistro/restaurant near the Tower; a Confiseur (candy shop); a Metro station; a pont (bridge) over the Seine; La Poste (a post office); une masion (a house); a Boutique; and a Flower Shop (Les Floralies). Under the tower sits a happy snowman surrounded by Christmas Gifts. Miscellaneous materials include: Neccos for the Champs du Mars pathways, bugles are small Christmas trees; ice cream cones are large Christmas trees; peppermint sticks and gumdrops are lamps.

Ginger has been taken with France her whole life and has had this Gingerbread scene on her mind for two years. On her last visit to Paris she took lots of pictures to help her with the original design.
